Port Community System
Via the Port Community System, Portbase currently offers 41 different services to around 2,200 clients in every sector of the ports of Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Participating companies enjoy concrete savings in time and money from day one. Nearly 4.2 million electronic messages are sent via the Port Community System every month. In an effort to cater for the needs of the business community and the authorities, Portbase is also constantly developing new services.
Easy to connect
For most of the Port Community System services, a simple PC with internet connection (Internet Explorer 7.0 or 8.0) is sufficient. For a number of services, a system link (EDI) with a company’s in-house computer system is required. On a secure part of this website, you can view and download the message specifications of the services. Portbase follows the international standard (UN/EDIFACT norm).
