All Portbase services get a fresh new look

We have exciting news! All our services in the Port Community System (PCS) are getting a fresh new look. Following in the footsteps of Vessel Notification 2.0 and Cargo Information, we will soon be offering all our services in the new Portbase house style. In doing so, we will be responding to a desire heard frequently during our recent customer satisfaction survey. The change will go into effect on 10 October 2017. From the very first log-in after that, all your screens will have the new updated appearance.

Good to know: all data fields to be filled in will be in the same places as always, and all functions will continue to operate as you are accustomed. What you will notice, however, is that the screens are laid out in a wider, more spacious manner. This provides you with a better overview – and makes scrolling horizontally a thing of the past.

This fresh new look will be evident when you work with a secure, current browser: Internet Explorer 11 or more recent, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari.

Still using an outdated browser?
The new look of our services is not available for older browsers. We recommend that you switch to a current browser version. This is something you will need to do soon, in any case. That’s because as of 1 January 2018, for reasons of security, we will be blocking access to the PCS for outdated browsers.
