  • Useful track & trace feature: realtime ETAs, announcement of Customs inspections and discharge confirmations
  • Read in and reuse cargo and planning info directly via a System Interface
  • B/Ls can be used and tracked by multiple parties simultaneously

Straightforward planning of onward transport

With the B/L information from the service Cargo Information, you can process your follow-up declarations in the correct way 24/7 and plan the onward transport. Phoning or mailing the ship broker/shipping company for your cargo information is no longer necessary. You can also use the cargo information in other Portbase services: Notification Local Clearance, Transit Declaration and Declaration Food and Consumer Products.

Track & Trace feature, including real-time ETAs

This service moreover provides you with a useful track & trace feature. You always have access to the current, real-time ETAs of visiting seagoing vessels. And the announcement of any Customs inspection – and its outcome – is visible. Further, the service displays the terminal’s discharge confirmation for each container.

Extra information

Extra information that the ship broker/shipping company can provide in the service are the exchange rate (‘boat rate’) at which the cargo will be charged, the first-day demurrage and the return address for the empty container. A queuing function makes it possible to make a link in advance with the B/Ls that the ship broker/shipping company is still to make available.

User-friendly System Interface

Cargo Information has been entirely made to measure for freight forwarders and importers. All available cargo and planning information can be read into your own in-house computer system via a System Interface and can be reused.
