Notification Arrival Export Containers is part of Portbase’s export services. As a terminal, the service allows you to easily receive all customs documents for export cargo and to directly report arrivals from the (European) hinterland to Customs (Arrival at Exit).
All export documentation
All export documents pre-notified through Portbase are already in your system. As a terminal, the moment the cargo arrives, no more manual actions are needed to collect data.
Arrival at Exit
For each equipment received at the terminal, it sends a “Gate in” message via system link to Portbase. When all equipment of the export document have been received, the Arrival at Exit is automatically sent to Customs. It is also possible to send an arrival notification manually via the web screens.
The service indicates whether the arrival notification has been received in good order. Should Customs wish to inspect cargo, the inspection notification is notified via the service. The release of the cargo after the inspection is also reported back via the web screens and system link.
For terminals with Customs Permit Approved Consignee (TG), Portbase offers the additional service ‘Notification NCTS Export Containers’ for automatic notification of Transit documents.
