39 Notification Crew and Passengers

The Dutch government will require you to electronically notify all persons present on board to the Seaport Police (Rotterdam) or the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee (all other ports) no less than twelve hours before your vessel arrives in the port. The service Notification Crew and Passengers make this extremely easy. The same is true for submitting changes before the vessel arrives, or an edited list at the time of departure.

We have conveniently made your obligation to electronically report all persons a logical part of the service Vessel Notification. This allows you to submit your crew and passenger lists directly as an extension of your vessel notification. Within the free service Vessel Notification, Notification Crew and Passengers is an attractively priced additional option. Using it means you will no longer need to enter data such as vessel information twice. The Port Community System (PCS) will ensure optimum reuse of the information.

How it works

Notification Crew and Passengers uses an Excel sheet template that you ask the vessel’s captain to complete; the template is then uploaded into the PCS. Portbase will take care of converting the template into the proper format. After that, we will send the crew and passenger list to the Seaport Police or the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee on your behalf, via the Maritime Single Window for maritime and air of the Dutch government.
