The only dependency here is that your organisation participates in the Secure Chain of the cargo in question.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Why is this interesting?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>We receive a lot of feedback from the market about the Secure Chain and often a user of Cargo Controller reports with a print screen of his or her carrier. This print screen then shows the terminal status in response to a &#8216;status request&#8217; or &#8216;pre-notification&#8217; from the carrier. The terminal status can show that the cargo is not yet available for collection. This status can therefore differ from the status you saw in Cargo Controller. That is now going to change!<\/p>\n\n<p>In order to improve transparency and efficiency, we will now share this information within the Secure Chain with all chain parties. This way you have direct insight into this status yourself and through knowledge transfer between chain partners the terminal status will become general use.<\/p>\n\n<p>Additional explanation about this information is required for users of Cargo Controller, but also the assignment to resolve this with the shipping company or terminal.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>What should I do?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>For web users of Cargo Controller this status will automatically become visible in the web screens.<\/p>\n\n<p>For API users of Cargo Controller data fields will be filled in the next update. It is necessary to check whether these data fields are already processed to your own system.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Please note!<\/strong> This data is only available for &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.portbase.com\/en\/services\/cargo-controller-en\/#1-how-do-i-manage-my-b-ls\">extended tracking<\/a>&#8216; of a B\/L.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>What will change?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The terminal status is only available in Cargo Controller in combination with the Secure Chain. This status is shown under the indicator &#8216;Pre-notification Hinterland&#8217;. The colour indicator translates to the terminal status, which can be yellow or red in addition to green.
