‘We have created a system interface with Portbase for our intermodal transport clients,’ says John Kaijen of Yellowstar Solutions. ‘From their own back office, companies can use this interface to send messages directly to the Port Community System and to receive messages in return. This means two fewer manual operations each time while also reducing the likelihood of errors. Using Portbase therefore increases efficiency. At the 2015 Port Community Awards two of our clients, Ritra and Frankenbach, were awarded a Silver Link. Our client Alcotrans was named overall winner in a previous edition. Such awards are a boost for us at Yellowstar Solutions as well, of course.

To give an example, for the improved service Transport Order, we recently spent an entire morning together with our client, their client and software provider and Portbase in order to conduct a joint chain test.
