New location Depot Pier 7 connected to Notification Container Hinterland

Pre-notification via Portbase simplifies visits to Depot Pier 7, part of the Waalhaven Group. From today, carriers can pre-notify containers and visits to Depot Pier 7 via Portbase’s Hinterland Container Notification (HCN) Road and Barge. After pre-notification, the necessary status information will be sent automatically.

Depot Pier 7 connects to Portbase’s HCN service. This brings the following advantages.

Benefits modality Road:

• One digital input for increasing number of terminals and depots
• Prior insight into container status through status requests and pre-notifications
• Easy access to Waalhaven Group’s depots with a TAR (Truck Appointment Reference) code
• No more stops at the service desk
• Your drivers can cross the terminal faster

Please note! Pre-notification and use of the TAR code will become mandatory from Monday 31 July 2023.

Benefits modality Barge:

• One entrance for the entire port: pre-notification via Port Community System (PCS)
• Prior insight into container status through status requests and pre-notifications
• No minimum call size
• Unloading list closes 8 hours before ETA and loading list 24 hours before ETA
